Amazing Environments Training

In this workshop we consider the importance of the learning environment for the success and wellbeing of children and educators. It is delivered as part of a Coaching package through SRF or Innovative Solutions Support funding.
We consider sensory challenges and supports, furniture placement and size, choice, storage, and layout of equipment, indoor and outdoor programs, and an introduction to early literacy and numeracy for Early Childhood settings.
We then take time to discuss the environments in the centre, as observed during our coaching visits. Educators and managers will have the opportunity to reflect together with the coach on the reasons for the current environmental settings and discuss and plan for changes together.

| Optional extra | Coaching package: A coaching visit to your kindergarten room on the day after the face to face training session to embed the learning. Observations and discussion to reflect on how to describe and document the strengths and challenges for children in your setting. $350 per hour – 3 hour minimum. |
